MAD TEA PARTY is here!!!
![]() Welcome everyone! What a delight to have you stop by my Mad Tea Party! Thanks to Vanessa Valencia from a "Fanciful Twist", we have now a sort of tradition to celebrate a virtual Mad Tea Party, giving us the chance to get to know one another all over the world. Thank you Vanessa for all your hard efforts to keep the second annual Mad Tea Party going, and becoming such a huge success. My Mad Tea Party is just that...MAD!! In a pretty and soft kind of way of course. I just took some of special items around my house and threw them together for this occasion. And now the fun! ![]() Of course there couldn't be a Mad Tea Party without a Mad Hat! So I created one just for this occasion :)I had so much fun making the Ribbon Flowers that adorn the rim abound it. The shades of green, champagne and ivory made the final touches look amazing. I so love this Hat!!!! Check out my tea cups! Aren't they just gorgeous?!![]() Oooohhh!!! What a surprise when some of my dolls made an appearance! I honestly didn't know if they would be able to attend. But as you can see they did show up to delight us with their presence. ![]() Birthday Dolly made an appearance, I so love her gorgeous dress made of shades of pink satin and chiffon. Her lustrous brown curls frame her face delightfully giving her such a look of innocence. ![]() My pink ballerina! ![]() This little lady is one of my favorite possessions as well. Her strawberry shades make her a delight to the senses, wanting you to take a piece and see if she tastes as good as she looks...LOLShe's a "Ribbon Girls Collection" item created by my mommy-in-law Addis A. Perez from cold porcelain, you can see more of her creations on her website http://www.addiscreations.com/. ![]() ![]() Royal Sealy Japan bone China in different colors. ![]() Another one of my passions, Venetian Masks! I just love them, I recently started collecting them and now I have two of them. ![]() ![]() ![]() This is my son Angel dressed in Vintage clothes. Since he was a small baby I've had him dressed and photographed in this fashion. Isn't he a ham?! ![]() Some more of my fine bone china.Royal Stafford made in England. ![]() Even Mickey and friends made an appearanceLove the scrolled tea cup stands...so delicate and soft. ![]() And after such hard work now it's time to delight our taste buds with a delicious combination brew of tea (mint, rose, chamomile, jasmine, hibiscus, white tea and green tea) and an assortment of delicate desserts (cream puffs, strawberry short cakes, lemon cake with white chocolate shavings, raspberry and chocolate Milano cookies, cannelloni, white vanilla cakes and Ferrero Rocher chocolate bonbons). Isn't the tea delicious Valia?!I hope you enjoyed my Mad Tea Party as much as we did.Hugs....p.s. Make sure to make your presence known since I will announce give-aways tomorrow and choose the winners from all the postings.Didn't post photos of the items to keep it a surprise ;)p.s.s I want to thank my sisters and sister-in-law for helping me put together this great Mad Tea Party!!
